SOLACEM S.p.a. is a port logistics company operating, since 1969, in the port of Torre Annunziata (Gulf of Naples) in the field of landing and handling of cereals and its distribution in central and southern Italy as well as the Mediterranean basin. Over the years SOLACEM S.p.a. has increased and diversified its activity to become an integrated logistics company offering, in addition to the storage of wheat and flour, further handling, storage and transportation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, cellulose, fertilizers, food products and various goods.

In 2001 Solacem completed the construction of a new section consisting of three flat metal warehouses with a capacity of over 65,000 cubic meters (fully mechanized and refrigerated) to expand the storage capacity up to about 120,000 tons of cereals and flour and to diversify the range of products both in bulk, pallets or big-bags and cartons. Finally, the company expanded the concession areas with two uncovered areas of over 9,000 square meters for break-bulk products
